To import court data into LegalSuite so that you do not have to create entries manually.

Through this menu selection, you have the ability to upload court data to create court maintenance entries into the LegalSuite database rather than creating each entry manually. Make the menu selection
Administration⇒Utilities⇒Court Import from the navigation bar.

1. Upload - Enter the name of the file that contains the list of court information that you wish to upload into the LegalSuite database. Or click on the Browse button to bring up the file selection menu. You can browse the files on your computer and select the file to upload.
The file must be in Microsoft Excel (.xls) format. Each Court is defined by a set of data; the data includes the name of the court, whether it's federal or state, the type of court district, circuit, bankruptcy, superior, arbitration, etc.), jurisdiction, and address.
2. UPLOAD Button - Click on the UPLOAD button to upload the file into LegalSuite.
3. SAVE Button - Click on the SAVE button to import the data into the LegalSuite database. When the Excel file is imported, the data will be used to create a court entries in the LegalSuite database for each court in the file.
To see a list of courts currently in the LegalSuite database, make the menu selection Administration&Arr;System Codes⇒Court Maintenance from the navigation bar.
