Your company may have multiple branches located all over the country. The purpose of Branch Maintenance is to allow you to specify the locations of the branches. Each branch is identified by a code.
EditView a Branch Code
To view a list of branch codes currently defined in LegalSuite, make the menu selection
Administration⇒System Codes⇒Branch Maintenance from the navigation bar.

To view information regarding a specific branch code, click on a code on the list. The Branch Maintenance Details page will appear with details regarding that code. Refer to the section "Add a Branch Code" for an explanation of each field on that page.
EditAdd A Branch Code
To add a new branch code, click on the ADD NEW ENTRY button on the Branch Maintenance page.

All fields marked with an asterisk "*" are required.
1. Branch Code* – Enter a code for the branch.
2. Branch Name*– Enter a name that will be associated with the branch code.
3. Address 1*, Address 2, City*, State*, County*, Zip Code* – Enter the postal address of the branch.
4. Default Branch – Check this box if you want this branch to be assigned as default during any work order processing.
5. Phone*, Fax, Email* – Enter the contact information for this branch.
6. Description – If desired, add a description and any other pertinent details regarding this branch.
7. Click on the SAVE button to create the new branch code. Click on the CANCEL button to discard your changes.
EditEdit an Existing Branch
1. To edit an existing branch code, click on the Edit link for that branch code on the Branch Maintenance page.
2. Make the desire changes. See the section Add a Branch Code for more information on the input fields.
3. Click on the UPDATE button to save your changes. Click on the CANCEL button do discard your changes.
EditDelete a Branch Code
1. To remove an existing branch code, click on the Edit link for that branch code on the Branch Maintenance page.
2. Click on the DELETE button to remove the branch code from the LegalSuite database.
3. You will be asked to confirm that you wish to delete the code. Click on "OK".
4. The code will be deleted from the LegalSuite database. It will no longer be seen on the Branch Maintenance page.
