Purpose

To define a group of people that can use your LegalSuite application.

Overview

When creating users, both employees and affiliates, for LegalSuite, you will have the opportunity to specify what groups the user belongs to. As administrator, you can create and edit groups that will use your LegalSuite application. The groups that are named here will be used to set permissions on what LegalSuite programs that members of those groups can access.

View Groups

To view a list of groups that have access to LegalSuite, click on Administration⇒Security⇒Group Authorizations on the navigation bar.

Add Group Authorizations

1. Click on the ADD NEW ENTRY button on the Group Maintenance page.

2. Name - Specify a name for the new group.

3. Click on SAVE to create the group. Click on CANCEL to discard your changes.

1. Click on a group name to edit on the Group Maintenance page.

2. Modify the name, as desired.

3. Click on SAVE to save your changes. Click on CANCEL to discard your changes.
