When creating a new work order request, you must specify what type of work order the request is for. The job types to choose from are basically LegalSuite’s base products Base products are defined when your company first purchases the LegalSuite software. You cannot add base products to LegalSuite yourself.
EditView Base Products
To view a list of LegalSuite’s base products, make the menu selection
Pricing⇒Products Pricing⇒Base Product from the navigation bar.

EditEdit an Existing Base Product
To edit a base product, click on the “Edit” link for that entry on the Base Products list. The page will be updated to display the Base Product Details page.

All fields marked with an asterisk “*” are required. You cannot save the base product until a value is specified for these input fields.
1. Product Name – Enter the name of the product as it will display throughout the LegalSuite application.
2. Price ($)* – Enter the price for this product. The base price can also be calculated when setting up the Product Pricing items.
3. G/L Code* – Select from the pull-down menu the General Ledger code to be used when processing a work order using this base product.
Click on the UPDATE button to save the changes. Click on the CANCEL button to discard your changes.
