To define document codes for paperwork received when a customer requests a work order.

EditOverview
When a client submits a work order request, they send documents that are related to the work order. When you create a new work order for that request through LegalSuite, you are asked to specify the client’s documents through the Documents tab. As administrator, you can define codes for documents that your business receives when a client sends a work order request.
EditView a Document Code
To view a list of document codes currently defined in LegalSuite, make the menu selection
Administration⇒System Codes⇒Document Codes from the navigation bar.

To view information regarding a specific document code, click on a code on the list. The Document Maintenance Details page will appear with details regarding that code. Refer to the section "Add a Document Code" for an explanation of each field on that page.
EditAdd A Document Code
To add a new document code, click on the ADD NEW ENTRY button on the Document Maintenance page.

All fields marked with an asterisk "*" are required.
1. Code* – Enter a code for a document your company may receive from a client.
2. Title* – Enter the title of the document as a description for that code.
3. Click on the SAVE button to create the new document code. Click on the CANCEL button to discard your changes.
EditEdit an Existing Document Code
a. To edit an existing document code, click on the document code on the Document Maintenance page. The Document Maintenance Details page will appear.
b. Make the desire changes. See the section Add a Document Code for more information on the input fields.
c. Click on the SAVE button to save your changes. Click on the CANCEL button do discard your changes.
EditDelete a Document Code
1. To remove an existing branch code, click on the document code on the Document Maintenance page.
2. Click on the DELETE button to remove the document code from the LegalSuite database.
3. You will be asked to confirm that you wish to delete the code. Click on "OK".
4. The code will be deleted from the LegalSuite database. It will no longer be seen on the Document Maintenance page.
